Ok..I do beleive this is straight up street rcing..and now against our wonderful rules to post.

Fail.

oh wow. It's disapointing to see two awesome cars driven by retards.
YEah..Becuase we build cars like that to sit in the driveway.
I guess there is a reason you dont have one...your too intelligent to qualify to drive it....

Retards need only apply.

Well, I'm sorry that my opinion might be swayed a bit away from street racing due to the fact that my last car was totalled by someone doing just that. When you invest hundred of hours into something that is more than likely faster than both of those cars, your opinion if likely to be swayed a bit.

My bad bro.

Never said I didn't race on the street, but if you didn't notice, the supra was forced to change lanes due to a vehicle in that lane. If you choose to race on the street, pick a less populous area, away from people and buildings and such.

Oh, f.y.i.
I think 9.20's in the quarter might just beat them by a bit...

and here is the car that was destroyed by f-ing morons like this.

I'm failing to see you point...They slowed down and made a lane change at a safe distance if you ask me.....

They could have been weaving in and out of traffic racing...Then you could call them morons and I would agree with you.

Yep, You can clearly see the Supra change lanes well in advance. So if you ask me he was running responsibly. He could have stayed in it and got on the other cars ass but he was smart and backed of with plenty of time to change

I dont know that any of it was "responsible"....But whatever.

You know what i mean when i say responsible. I said that only because he was smart and let off early. He could have been irresponsible and just stayed in the gas

My main point being that if you feel compelled to do so, racing on the street should take place away from...well...anything. It's a matter that is relative to location, that looks to be a fairly urban area, so maybe not such a good idea. I personally live in the middle of nowhere, so getting on it affects very few, if any people other than myself.
People will always build cars that are fast and street legal, and maybe feel like driving fast on the street, and that's cool, just do it with a little more common sense than racing down a street that poses some risk of accident. I'm sure that neither of them are particularly stupid, as building cars of that calibre takes a little bit of thought, but they could excersize a bit more common sense. Many people on the road have poor judgement of distance, and the effect that increased speed has on closing distance. Someone could very easily pull out in front of either of them.

I agree that I might have posted hastily calling them retards, however I will stand by my beliefs that any kind of wide open, racing situation like this should be contained to a more controlled environment.

You make a great point that it probably wasn't a great idea for them to run where they did. I was simply posting something that i thought people might enjoy seeing. The classic rivalry of Supra vs Mustangs.

And if it had taken place in a more suitable place, it would have been some damn good racing.
Well....it was anyways. I've always had a fond place in my heart for the terminator mustangs.

Cool video everything else aside, I have harsh feelings towards street racing because of my Dart.

Well maybe I can redeem myself with this vid of a Twin Turbo Cobra on the dyno<object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/XAcdgLj1_-0&rel=1"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/XAcdgLj1_-0&rel=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>
