you could use it, but if the car doesn't run as it should with the stock turbo, why would you want to upgrade? having a bigger turbo still leaves all of the other weaknesses of the system. fix those first, then upgrade the turbo so you can actually take advantage of the benefits of the larger turbo. you should have a reason to upgrade the turbo other than to say you have a bigger turbo. if you haven't surpassed the capabilities of the stocker, then your system definitely won't be able to keep up with a bigger turbo, so why change it, other than for bragging rights, which will quickly be lost when the car drives somewhere and either blows up or is slow as s*** with thousands in mods.

As was said earlier... Unless you just want to be ablt to say that you have a T3/T4 in your car, there really isn't much point unless you are going to run more than 12 Psi. The T-25 is more than strong enough for whatever you want to do with your car ( For Now ). I say that because fuel management is something that is of paramount importance for you now. You can't just push more air to the engine without adding fuel. the stock injectors may run out of head room, as with the pump. The stock pump was designed to deliver fuel for a stock set-up, the injectors bla bla bla...

Have a look at the SDS-EIC-2 on the web from Simple Digital Solutions...

Later...Brian

Good Luck!

I was wanting to upgrade the turbo and go with forged internals. Was trying to find out if anyone has done it andif they had any problems? Thanks

to my knowledge nobody has, azian6er i think is having his engine built right now, i don't know what he will be using for a turbo though.
without proper engine management and fuel system though it still won't be worth it and you will blow up your motor if you turn the boost up to anything respectable. forged internals won't solve your problems if you detonate bad enough, they'll have no qualms about breaking. look into engine management before internals and a bigger turbo.

also talk to some of the other turbo guys that have done all of this before. the p5 and mp3 have the same motor and thus the same issues. i know linux and a few others have built motors and are running bigger turbos than ours. check out some of the big posters in the f/i forum, they can help you out.

When you decide to do this look into lowering your stock compression ratio. This will allow you to boost higher with less risk of detonation.

keep the t25 and get forged internals, then raise the boost. safe and efficient.....or go with a gt25 lil more power and still safe.

The best perforamnce mode to do 1st is probably to get some type of Stand Alone, or Piggy back system. The most common mistake by most is to get this last. It makes tuning more difficult, and more time consuming. If you get it 1st, you can adjust for each additional mod as you get it. A bigger turbo on the MSP is pointless right now without the proper means to support it.
