Hey there, it's time to go shopping for some new suspension. I am obviously going with Tokico Blue struts, but I need help finding some adjustable coilover sleeves. I can't go with just lowering springs because I need to raise it in the winter(thanks canada). And I don't want to go with the full adjustable coilover set because of the cost.

So I was just wondering if you guys could give me links/suggestions for adjustable coil sleeves.

Thanks,
-Austin

You can do that if you like, but you will have to get an alignment every time you raise/lower the car. At 100$ twice a year this can get expensive. A nice drop can be had with the Eibcah springs and you should be able to get through the winter (1.2" or so drop). Or you can do what i did and throw in the Mazdaspeed suspension, but it's only a 0.5"-0.75" drop so it wont give you that slammed look. If your dead set on sleeves, look into Ground Control, decent quality yet i don't know if they have a set for protege's.

He could get one of those 7year alignment programs. Though I don't know any in Canada, I know around here, Tire Kingdom offers a program like that, and it unlimited for the ammount of times you can take it in.

Let me ask you something youngone, how do you plan on making these coilovers? Are you going to cut the spring-perch and get a weld-on coilover setup-up from ground control or something along those lines?

I was planning on buying them...

Thanks for the advice funkytuqe, it's mostly my parents who are worried about it becoming a snow plow. So they wanted to hear some alternative options first.
