so i need new struts and i was looking at the tokico hp kit. but ive read that the springs arnt ment for p5s so i was reading that hp blues are good with eibach springs. i planing on getting the stuts this weekend for 300 before ship is that a good price and untill i have the money to get the eibach pro springs will the hp blues work with my stock springs,

thats a decent price for just the struts. i'm also going to add that if you want performance and not just style, skip the eibachs and get either tein's or espiler's for springs

And unless your stock struts are totally blown, I'd wait on installing the new struts until you have the springs to go with them. That way you aren't doing it twice- although it's not that hard to do.

if you are talking about the ones from ebay that sell for $300, you might wanna try to contact the seller first. I've sent him maybe 5 message, and none were replied. So beware of him/her.

i got my tokico blues for 300 shipped.. i dunno why you would want the eibachs over the tein s techs, but they about the same, just see what u can get a good deal on.

yea they are off ebay and i had no contact with seller at all but his reviews were good and also said that he doesnt contact people very often but i got my struts fine with no problems.

so ive had my struts for while now but been waiting for springs and they just arrived and im pumped to feel the new ride(burnout) since my front struts have been s*** for a while now. so couple question on the install. can i re-use the endlinks if they still good and do i switch over the bumpstops(i think there called) from the old stuts. and is there anything elsei should know before hand.

yes, the endlinks are reusable. They'll be a lot easier if you have impact tools. If not, take it to a shop and see if they'll just break the nuts loose for you.

Yes, you should swap the bump stops over.

Remember, you'll need an alignment after you do the install. Most Firestones will do lifetime alignments for $99.

yeah i learned that it took me like a half hour to break one loose couple days ago before i got my springs just to see how hard it would be. tonight i got an impact gun and it took 2 seconds.

also if your lowering your ride with springs your gonna want to cut your bumpstops in half

i have read that you can cut them or leave them so ill see how it goes and if later i gota cut them i will .

there in(naughty) used same endlinks just cleaned up really well and they all came off easy except for one had trouble. it is such a difference my old front struts wont even pull out they were so blown.

Depends on what the going rate is for scrap steel.

Keep your stock struts, If you ever get really serious about your suspension you could rebuild them with new inserts and coilovers.
