Subwoofer vibration

I tried searching this topic through the archives, and came up with some info, but was wondering if anyone can help me fixing the MS6 factory sub. About a month ago, noticed the sub was sounding like it was blown. However, when I opened the trunk and nudged it a little, it sounded fine again. This would last a couple days and then again the vibrating noise would start up. I would nudge it again and it would work fine and on and on....

I'm guessing something in the subwoofer assembly has come loose? As I'm not too skilled in vehicle audio, I don't want to start messing with it until I know what I'm looking for. Anyone have this problem? Whats the best way to go about fixing it?

I did find step by step instructions on how to take apart the rear deck on the forum....however, is this an issue that can be resolved by going through the trunk? Or would I have to take apart the rear deck and attack from the top?

Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Mine did this as well, first problem was the "BOSE" emblem was loose, superglue fixed that. But I still have a weird rattle/vibration. Waiting for the weather to get warmer before I dig into it.

So I think my sub finally conked out. Kept rattling to no end for the last couple months. I was hoping it was something loose in the assembly (like the bose logo or something). But yesterday I heard a loud pop, and now it sounds like its not firing at all.

Anyone know where I can get another factory sub? Is the dealer my only option? I tried searching online, but 9" subwoofers are hard to find....
