Sturdy wheel suggestions

I managed to bend a 2nd MS3 wheel and can't seem to find a replacement for it without spending at least $500. Was told by a wheel shop that it also is not bent enough to be repaired (looking at it, without knowing it was bent, you'd never be able to tell). Unfortunately it is bent enough that I get vibrations when breaking and at lower speeds.

Since this is my 2nd bent wheel, I'm thinking a sturdier set might be in order. Does anyone have any suggestions on a brand/model that would be able to hold up to Northeast roads?

Looking to spend about $500. I know it's not a lot, but it's what a new MS3 wheel will end up costing me, so that's my price point.

forged is going to be the strongest, but at your price point. you may be able to afford only one wheel. ive got some rotas for sale around your price, check the ms3 fs area. your just going to have drive carefully no matter what if your bending oem wheels as it is. good luck

your doing something wrong if your bending oem wheels that bad. No matter what wheels you get your going to bend them with a good enough hit.

That's the part that gets me. I had 12 years of 15" wheels with my Integra and only bent 1 wheel and that was totally my fault (driving a mile on a flat tire is a baaaaad idea, chalk that up to being young and stupid).

These tires are only 11mm thinner than the ones on my Integra and yet the wheels bent so quickly. I'm actually driving more gingerly with the MS3 than I did the Integra as well.

My guess is either that 18" wheels bend easier than 15" ones or the 15's tires hide it better. Only wish I had bent the wheel more, I could get it repaired then...

You know, I'm betting it was the tire pressure. The wheels bent just after the temperature dropped like 20 degrees over night around the first week or so of December and the TPMS icon popped on. I got my tires replaced the next day for winter and that's when I noticed the bent rim.

I just got a replacement in from Finishlinewheels.com, getting it put on my car Monday.

Definitely need to be more diligent on making sure the tire pressure is correct.
