stumbled upon a MSP for sale...

just a heads up for anyone that might care because i think these are not very common. I don't know that much about them but i've always thought they were dope. my ms3 is my first mazda.

i was cruising by my broker's place this evening after going to the beach with the dog and he's got a Mazdaspeed Protege he took in on a trade recently from some woman who he claims was very neat and extremely b****y. the thing is straight...i'm very tempted to get it myself, toy with it and then sell it.

this guy is uber legit me, my wife and both sides of my family have gotten a ton of cars from him. he usually deals in really high end stuff or super pedestrian cars so i was surprised when i saw this.

according to him, it's got 53k and he's looking for $7800. he's not a used car lot, he does leases and new car purchases, but tends to get stuff in on trade like this. he's awesome....

it'd have to be a P5....

its to grainey for me to tell if the mirrors are right. the drivers looks wrong, but the pass looks right, I don't see an antenna... I'd bet its legit.

hehe, you guys are sharp! that's why i posted it in here.

the vin checks out for a MSP. the color i'd blame on my old school cell phone. it's like a shimmery orange in real life. it's a metallic with yellow highlights. i looked inside and it has a apexi turbo timer and boost gauge. im going to go check it out today now that i have more time. someone at some point did minor styling stuff because they have the window visors, blue lug nuts, painted calipers and possibly the black painted grill/swapped.

Looks clean it's legit, Wing, wheels, front lip no antenna. Either the front grill was painted or replaced with one from P5 maybe due to damage. I see what was said about the drivers mirror it seems to be missing the ridge but you can see the ridge in the pass side, maybe it's just the detail is missing in the pic. if it is different. I would suspect an accident that took out the front grill and mirror. Since both would have been replaced with regular p5 parts.
For that price I would take it though, You could sell it for more as is. You you talk him down to $6500 you got a steal!!! s*** I drive up there and buy it for that. Take a camera and take more pics for us. You can tell you every little detail with just few pics!!!
