nope, the 1.8 is an FP block with an FS head (but different cams), FP's have different transmissions than the FS too; BP's are earlier, there are no BP's in 1999's or later Proteges


...and i think he was laughing at the turbo kit itself, and probably thinking: 'why would someone actually buy this!?!?!'

There are a bunch of guys that turbo their KL's with ebay turbos and run them for a while. While I would never want to do it on my own car, I've always wondered how it would hold up. I know that the manufacturing processes are not up to quality standards but I've always wondered.

There are old dudes that slap ebay turbo kits on their miatas all the time, but we are also talking about a motor that is a hell of alot stronger than a FS is.
