Just curious, are the MSP RB sway bars really that better than stock P5 ones? They look little thicker but really, would one notice that much of a difference? What's your guys opinion?

well, i got that same kit, the springs are great, i never got the time to put in the sway bars yet, but the springs and strut bar helped, the guy will take a best offer of 150 if you offer him that, great price if you ask me

Did sway bars come with bushings, if not, what bushings are recommended out there? Is the strut bar beefier than OEM P5?

Yes they are beefier... bigger diameter etc... on the other hand, bushings is always an issue.

You will notice a big difference with the rear sway bar. The front is just not worth the hassle IMHO to install. You really don't want to stiffen up the front any cuz you'll just negate the the stiffer rear.

Stiffer rear = less understeer more oversteer
Stiffer front = more understeer less oversteer

most cars come out the factory tuned to understeer because it's easier to correct. so ultimatly you want to just stiffen the rear up to get less understeer.

about the subframe. the msp comes with a heftier rear subframe. the connections for the brackets are reinforced.

Thanks for the info, very informative! So, for a daily P5 driver, is the upgrade to MSP RB sways really that necessary? True, mine is turbocharged, but I don't autocross or race it. I already have the MSP suspension set up, so if the sways improve the overall feel of the car I would consider it.

Yeah, I compared the difference between my stock rear subframe and the "upgraded" one. It's really not a big difference, you could probably do it yourself if you have access to a welder.

Lets get back to what this thread is all about shall we. There are plenty of sections of this forum to discuss suspension's. Now get out there and start lookin for good stuff!

The leather grip is falling off, they had to zip tie it on to take the picture. I have learned from experience that the knob without the leather grip sucks.
