as for the gasket, autozone couldn't find me anything that would work, so I used exhaust repair putty... works fine, if not a little ghetto, but oh well. I DID try to get the proper gasket first.

the gasket from mazda is for the 2.1" or whatever size pipe it is. a 2.1" donut gasket isn't going to work on a 2.5" pipe.

There is no such thing as too low for a rear lip. LOL
