I think those are the same ones, just a dif color. I agree the rear one looks ok but the front one looks ridiculous unless hes towing his car very frequently

That gaydm rice. Those hooks would probably give out under real pull since they're only held on by a bolt or two.

ha ha my buddy had a set on his 00 SI and we used the hell out of em! his were legit though and ordered off of passwordjdm... He was bad about getting into situations where he needed the tow hooks but dont bother with em unless they are actually gonna be used... oh and a route 44 big drink fits perfectly in the front tow hook fyi

come on im only joking. lol

honestly, if you are regularly getting into situations where you need tow hooks, and its NOT because you have to use a tow rig to get your car back down the return road at the strip...
TRADE IN FOR A 4X4!!!!

otherwise, leave the tow hooks to the ricers, and guy guys with full on track cars.

yeah after thinking on it for day (blah) & really trying to figure how often i would use them i decided go against it.
ill save the money and use it on something to make the car faster (rockon)

and that is where im lost, ive never had a car that had issues with removing a cat or anthing like that (my pontiac it was just install and go no problems) so what exactly is this no fouler you speak of?

like just stuff it with duct tape or a bit more involved than that?

you put it in the secondary 02 to fool the reading.. you use 2 spark plug non-foulers (thus the name)

duct tape!?! no. there is something called a "spark plug non-fouler" that you can buy at NAPA for only a few bucks. you need to drill a 1/2" hole in it, I believe, in order for it to accept the stock O2 sensor. there is a great how-to article somewhere on Mazda Forums that explains everything you need to know, including the NAPA part number (it's been a few years since I read it - just do a search, you should find it). from what I've read, many users here have done it successfully with their OBX headers.

Don't use duct tape on your car. Haha!

Here's the link to the non-fouler.

I have a similar header design and installed the non-fouler and passed emissions with my pre-cat deleted and just running my cat in the midpipe. But bear in mind, you get what you pay for as far as that eBay header... I would save up some more money and just buy an OBX. I've heard a lot of bad stories of eBay headers not fitting right, cracked welds, etc.
