Strut or not to strut ?

I've decided to work on the suspension, in lieu of an automatic turbo kit.

I've decided on an Eibach pro kit because of its subtle, aggressive stance, and I'll eventually be getting a lip. The pothole state (NJ) won't be very kind to anything lower than an Eibach, especially with the lip.

Is it worth buying the MP3 struts ($505 from www.mazdaformance.com) and sway bars ($379 from same place) ? I know this question has been asked. I've read all the threads, but I still can't decide.

$505 struts + $379 sway bars + $220 springs + (labor to install at a dealership, if i want to keep warranty) + shipping = At least $1300

Yikes! That's the price of a new coilover kit :( The reason I don't wish to buy a set is because I want the thicker sway bar, for less body roll.

What are your opinions ? (2thumbs) or (notcool)

Is there a less expensive alternative or better places to buy from ?

I appreciate all comments :) Thanks guys!

Additional question: Would a coilovers w/ stock sway bars offer the same handling as the MP3 suspension ?

(I don't really have the time to fine tune a set of coilovers, though, and I wouldn't want to ever lower the car more than 2" I'm not a big fan of the tucked in look.)

A big part of the MP3 MSP handling package are the sway bars.
So if you want to corner like us, you gotta get 'em.
