Street Prepared build

Just a quick picture from this weekend. Hopefully there will be a few more in the next few days.

Edit....I had to add my trophy award picture....everyone laugh at me. That's the closest I've been to two pretty girls in a long time. Such is the way of the warrior.

I've HAD a few...not in a year or so. I dated a girl for a few weeks, but it never really went anywhere. Luckily, I've got other things that have taken priority. I don't need the distraction right now.

IIRC, on my car with them pulled all the way out it was around -1 degree and with them all the way in it was just shy of -3 degrees. You ride height and setup might make that a little different, but it will get you in the ballpark. Just get an alignment as soon as you can since changes in camber will affect your toe.

The car has never felt this good. Every dynamic of the car is noticabley better. Acceleration, braking and turning have all gotten more precise now.

Xelder, I just gotta say your facial expression on that pic with the girls is great! LMAO

I agree...what events have chicks where you get a pic at? lol

I have a friend who did a few shots with my car recently....though I'll get her to pose again cuz it was too damn dark and they are a bit blurry :(

It's set in stone now. Notice Will Kalman in the '91 Escort. I'll be keeping an eye on him to see how competitive the 1st Gen Protege could be.

You guys are never going to believe this.

Looks like it's time for motor #4. I disastered this one worse than any of the others. I was at a 24 hour event about 1 hour away from home. My motor had been making a lot of racket for a while, but it didn't sound like a rod bearing so I paid it no attention as long as it didn't get worse. I guess on the drive there it got a lot worse and I couldn't hear it over the wind noise and exhaust. I made a few runs on my street tires and noticed the knocking going back to the pits. I packed up my stuff and headed back toward home so I could get started pulling her apart to rebuild it. I made it about 20 minutes up the highway and she just kept getting worse. I finally pulled over and called for a trailer. It sounds like a gang of monkeys with ballpeen hammers in my engine right now. The motor should be out of the car late tomorrow. If I remember to take my camera I'll snap some photos. It will be ready for Nationals.
