Stray floormat

So Saturday I took the MS3 on over to get detailed. She got washed a nice shiny 3 layer coat of wax, tires shined, inside vaccumed and shampoooooed, even the door jams got cleaned. Now she looks brand new! Kudos to the guys at Sentry West Mazda.

Anyhow beofre I went over there was a whirlwind of comotion in my driveway, that involved me fliging the car doors open and pulling all my crap out so they could clean. This included my nice mazda3 rubber winter mats which were still in. I left them on the driveway with the intent of hosing them off when I got back. That didn't happen however because life got got awesome in the form of some impromtu and very kick ass sailing on the way home.
But whatever they are rubber mats, being outside wont hurt them. Right?

Well next day I go to hose them off and one is missing. At first im thinking black driveway... black mat, maybe we got some camoflage going on... but no. Checked the neighbors yard, not there either.

WTF? (uhm)
It was kinda windy on saturday... but not that windy. Plus the yard is pretty closed in. But I really can't find it. Its driving me nuts.

What are the odds I can buy just one all weather mazda3 rear mat?

Mat gnomes. They always steal just one of the set. They are a close relative of sock gnomes.

Keep on the lookout for nut gnomes. They tend to live in the same habitat as mat gnomes. Don't want to lose one of the set there.

I think you are probably SOL on the single mat unless you can find someone who bought the set and only wants/needs the front ones.
