if GM falls below $5 again i'm going to pick some up.

also since oprah declared the kindle her new favorite gadget and amazon is down around 50% on the year i'm considering picking some of that up. oprah's hordes of people who do whatever oprah says will make them more profitable. also i like the company's attitude in general which makes me think in the long term it will be successful and since it's so far down now i wouldn't mind owning some

Since I work for GE I've been watching GE stocks pretty closely. Even though I'm currently not invested in the stock market (more long-term, high-stability stuff) I am considering buying with everything so low. I thought the prices had bottomed out a week ago but GE stocks have dropped $5 since then. I may just have to bite the bullet and take the initial losses for hopes of gains in the future. BTW, this would be only a small portion of my income. GE matches up to 4% of what I put in my 401k so it won't hurt too badly.
