I tried to replace the stock stereo by an aftermarket, I looked at the back of the stock unit and saw two plugs behind, what is the right one for?

possibly a external cd changer not avalible in the US. you will need an adapter harness though to hook into the new radio

AFAIK that right connector is for the center console auxiliary input. The steering wheel controls go through the car's CAN bus, which is part of the main wiring harness (on the left).

not dorectly, but you could just tap the 3 wires from the aux input, then soilder them to a 1/8" mini plug and if the radio has a rear aux in, just plug it in there
