Stock Rim paing peeling

For those still with stock rim, I just notice that my rims paint peeling at the center cap. see link below. Do you guys have the same issue or is it just me. I don't know how to post pictures so I found some pictures that look exactly the same and posted the link, however I'm having the same issue as the guy who posted the pictures.

The car is 2008 speed3 and has less than 30,000 mile and located in MN.

All four rings around the center cap are the same as the link above.

well, to be honest, they probably have to be sanded, then powder coated to ensure durability. This is why you should wax your wheels...

Two of my wheels had a nice flake spot around the center cap area to..I wish that I would have cleaned the salt off alittle more often (argh)....Mine are mainly winter wheels tho, but I still hate it.

What are you cleaning your wheels with? Harsh solvents will wear away the OE finish fairly quickly

It's pretty common in winter climes. My wife's 05 17" look like total crap. I can't believe how weak the stock Mazda paint & clearcoat is...that goes for the paint on the car as well, it chips if you use harsh language on it.

Yeah no kidding, I guess thats how mazda can afford to put the speed packages together for a reasonable price(cut corners)...but what really sucks is that my CWP paint cost extra money!!!(shady)
