I know it varies by car, but for those wondering what a stock MSP dyno looks like (i believe im unflashed by the looks of the AF Ratio). I did 5 Runs, 2 Stock Filter, 2 K&N Panel Filter, and one with the airbox unattached with a turbo fan blowing cooler air in
(We just wanted to see how it would react with getting all the air it can)
The dyno runs are merged (well 3 on one and 2 on the other) But you can follow the color codes. they are 4th gear runs from 2k rpm i gassed it. we let it cool between the diff sets of runs. and discovered the coolant leak at high rpm ha.
for the last run, the dyno guy volunteered my friend to stand in front of the car and hold the turbo fan on the air intake, it was his first time to the dyno so it was really funny he said yes to standing in front of my car goin full bore (well not directly but enough that i would have takin his shins out haha)
anyone thats been to a dyno knows how loud it can be. I gave the guy a 5$ tip it was worth it hahaha
heres the dynos
I was pretty happy. The k&n showed a lil improvement over stock, it gave ~3hp and ~1Ft lb of Tq. The open air filter gave us 150hp and if u look at the graph on dyno 2 it leans the stock ecu in the mid range, but at redline it went a lil lean. so no air filter is a bad idea lol. I cant believe how rich the ecu goes its offf the charts lol.
