My car still idles low between 400 - 500 rpms at a full stop if I'm in nuetral and still rolling it will idle at 800. I had bought new cold and hot pipes. Changed coil packs and boots.cleaned egr. Still will sometimes idle irrotic and drop down. Could moving my maf to the cold pipe help? And it still runs great when cold then when warm its slower and idle doesn't sound right coming out of exhaust please help!

well a lot of people put it on the cold pipe like 18'' from the throttle body then the bov flange right after for a fmic. but i have the smic.

But its on my intake right now and i want to put it on my cold pipe

alright ill do it this weekend and see if it helps. what brand is the boost gauge message me with picture if possible? thank you

Ill send a picture when I get home from work in about an hour. I will also post it in your thread with signage to avoid getting in trouble for pm sales, and It's an autometer boost gauge. A wideband never hurt anyone, and can be very useful. maybe oil pressure too.

EDIT: oops it's the 17th...Hope that's ok

yeah if your vaccum is under 20lbs then spray carb cleaner on all the lines under the hood and all around the intake manifold...if you cant find any leaks it very well may be the wastegate leaking....so then take the vac line that goes to the wastegate and blow in it hard and if you hear air leaking there you go. then buy the atp replacement wastegate here.

or i think i also saw one in the mp3 marketplace brand new for sale. or you could always upgrade...its up to you, thats what my problem was and we changed it now it runs like a champ and no more lean code!

I still dont see why you havent relocated the maf. I told you over a month ago to do it. now other people are too. You're wasteing money on replacement parts when your fix is right there!!

itll help but a ssafc with a superstock map woud do so much better. and relocating the maf may work but dont say thats the problem, you never know. all im saying is changing my wastegate fixed every problem i had. but its up to you to do whatever you want.
