Slowly but steadily working our bugs from my son's 08 MS3.
Both him and I agree that gear shifter is very sticky. It takes quite an effort to simply move it. Feels like it could use some grease job. Is this something that is done normally as maintenance, or there is problem to come? I mean - I am strong guy, and that lever takes effort to move around. Like it's in gel, or something.
And if it needs to be greased, how do we go about it? Pop leather console out around it and drip some lube in, or it's done from the bottom up on transmission?
