I love the fact that the ******* chase car could keep up no problem...lol. Those where sick races, but that STi def. got a sick assed launch from the dig man, SRT-4 left in the dust. And that guy in the jeep, ******* hilarious....w00t for the nice find on Vid, and too bad that guy with the camera lost $100...lol

the Srt-4 was boosting 23 psi!! and all the other upgrades, Damn and it just barley won on the roll.... meaning the subaru with prolly more boost and not missign a gear would even win on the roll. good vid!

according to HOT ROD magazine were they put an 03 Cobra vs. 04 Sti, the Sti came out with.. better 1/4 mi. better 0-60, better track speed, better braking, better gas mileage, less expensive, better tranny, cheaper, faster salom speeds, better stock tires and exhaust system....
yep, very true...also very true that with a few Gs in mods the cobra will be WAY faster than the STi...
but it will still: get worse gas mileage, handle worse, brake worse, shift worse, cost more, cause higher insurance rates, and most importantly, not look NEARLY as goos (bling)

domestics, esspecially the cobra are used and are very good at drag racing, big blocks and superchargers love the straight line. I prefer the more rally car that has an all around advantage. But still, taking my uncles '68 Camaro with a 514 Bow tie down a track was fuckign fun as hell...
its not that it handles worse..both cars handle extremely well..so its not like its some huge advantage the sti has over the sti..hell i'd take either.
