Steering feel of turbo

I driven both non turbo and turbo and noticed the steering feel was more tighter. Can anybody confirm.

Were they both AWD?

No. Probably that was the factor.

I read there was some torque steer with the turbo when punching the throttle.

There can be if you have the wheels turned or are in the rain or something. It's not a typically experienced thing, though. Mazda did very well.
