I look all over the forum before i bugged you guys but couldnt find the answer. Any way i just put on the Hiboost FMIC, and i have the Turbosmart BOV. It can be adjusted to hard or soft, so i twisted it soft. Still stalling after letting off the gas on hard accell. So twisted it the other way to hard, and no difference. So do you guys think i need to go super soft, or super hard. I know that sounds kinda gay, i alreay put myself under suspision. Please Help me out.

If you are atmospherically blowing off the air, then you need to either move your MAF to after the BOV or add a BPV.

yea its just blowing, i had to take the stock BPV off when i installed it, i didnt think it would make that big of a difference.

this is the BOV that i have

you can twist the top to make it harder or softer. So your thinking if i make it harder it wont vent as easy or as much. right?

move your maf to after the bov and your stalling issues should go away.........
w/o recirculating the air your maf is thinking all the air that you are blowing into the atmosphere is still in the intake pipes. making you stall!!

do you have a picture how to hook up the stock BPV too? Do you think i can use my BOV , and add the stock BPV somewhere?

yes u can do that. look at my thread in the forced induction section.
u may need a nipple welded onto the cold side though.

well i tighted it, and after one hard launch, i let off the gas and it dipped down to 600 rpms and was steddy. So i when for another run and i blew off my hose at my throttle body, so it stalled. So i just pulled it back in the garage, and i noticed that my hardpipe it touching the brake resivour....(spell check). Does your hiboost kit touch too? Here is how the pipe, and BOV look. Sorry it was my camera phone.

I never messed with BOV's but I can tell you this much...

You need to tighten the s*** out of your clamps. And then, tightening them a quarter turn more. Go for a drive and tighten them again. Are you using T-bolt clamps or worm clamps?

Your hardpipes can touch the Master brake cyl. but it will make a rattling sensation that will resonate thru your pedals when you first let off the clutch. People have compared it to clutch chatter.

Finally, you need to correct the blow-off issue once and for all some how. Some have simply placed the stock BPV back in. If you do this, you will have to make a nipple on the Turbo - IC pipe and then again on the intake pipe after the MAF. Or, you will need to move the MAF. Either way, you will be butchering your pipes.

As for tightening the BOV, I really don't know much about that one, and there are some peole on here that can tell you more, but doesn't that make it not let as much air out and if it is too tight, wouldn't that defeat the purpose of a BOV in the first place?

^^if he wanted a dual setup. he needs a nipple on the injen intake. which is already there.
and needs 1 nipple on the pipe that goes to the throttle body.
His bpv will be on the tb pipe and recirculate to the injen.
no need to mess w/ the hotpipe.

but i'm sure there are a few ways to do it.

Reset ECU by disconnecting negitive battery let sit for a few minuted put back on ECU is a Learning ECU may take alittle while and stalling but sometimes you can get it to stop stalling with atmospheric venting i had a HKS ssqv on mine for about 6 months had stalling issue did as stated above it went away and didnt do it again and that was on stock pipes..
