Stalled....WTF!!!!!!!!!

If anyone can explain this i would be very greatful. I get home from a long night of drinking last night, park my car, and go to bed. I start my car this afternoon at like 1pm, and drive 5 minutes away to a local bagel shop for some food and coffe. I then sit in my car with my girl, eat my bagel and drink my coffe. During this lovely brunch i have my radio on for maybe 15 min. (i have 2 12' kickers, 4 internal pioneer speakers, and a 400 watt mtx amp) The reason im telling you this is because im curious if it would be the cause. Next thing i know i go to start my car and my battery is ticking.....WTF!!!!!!!!...m s*** just died. Obviously i had to call a friend to come and jump start my car. Anyone have any idea!!! For the record no i didnt leave anytihng on overnight.

I always have issues starting my car, if I run my radio without it running. The stock Batteries they throw in these cars suck ass.

I would suggest you upgrade to a new battery.

my car was off and i had my system on, but not loud or anything, Heat was also on but not for a long time, and on a low setting.

your battery might be dying. The wet cell batteries in our cars get old and tired and stop holding a good charge, and every time they're drained fully they lose a lot of their capacity and eventually they can no longer start the car even when charged up.

HOWEVER...it was NOT your battery that was TICKING....it was the starter relay.....

i ended up draining my battery while i was dynamatting my front doors...same occurance, no start, no power...the starter was clicking on mine too...ur battery got drained...

yea i put my intake in yesterday and when i was done prolly 1hr and 15 min to start guy car barely made it.....slowest statup ever award. i had been listening to music

s*** i guess that means its time for a new battery, any suggestions. I need something with a lot of power, my system is draining that bad boy to the last drop. Sorry for not being spacific before, the part about me driving was me driving a block n a half away. If it was any further i def. would not have driven.

yea in order for your battery to even stat to recharge off of the altenator it takes like 10 min so lil short trips kill batteries

i did but its like lil kids they do things for attention if u dont give them attention usually theyll knock it off. His whole first sentence had nothing to do with his car problem. He could have completly left it off, so he was obviously lookin for some kind of attention so i ignore it

optima batteries would be a good choice.

red top is good for most applications, unless you have subs and s***. then you might want to get the deep cycle yellow top.
