SSR called me to R&D...

and needs more 2010 cars!

I was on the phone with SSR trying to get info on fitment specs for wheels, when I mentioned to them that I'd be willing to do some R&D for them. About 5 minutes later, they call me back to ask if I would come in around April to do some test fitting for their springs and other suspension parts. They will also try to test fit some aggressive wheels to see how much we can fit in our wheel well. And if the suspension parts fit, I get to take home the first set!!

They also wanted to know if I knew anyone else who'd be interested on being on their R&D list. However, they're limiting it to the current gen Mazda 3's (2010+ MS3 and regular 3's) as well as the new 6. So if you or anyone you know wants to be apart of this, hit me up (pm is fine or email: jaxxson3@hotmail.com) - it's a great chance to get free stuff!

LA (cali) area only.

**********UPDATE *******
Awesome day! Got to meet up with Mike at Tanabe and the Japanese team. They were able to install the lowering springs and under brace. The tower bar was removed because it was touching the engine, so they'll need to redesign it. They took my springs back to Japan but will give them back in two months - they're gonna do more R&D. They also measured me for an exhaust and wheels, so I'll be going back in June to test fit the exhaust.

as far as the suspension - it rides very well, the drop isn't too drastic but noticeable. It's slightly stiffer but definitely noticed less roll.

Nice!

Let us know what you think of the parts once you have them installed.
