SRT is here!!!!

Check out the video in the video/photo section on a SRT-4 racing a WRX and AWD DSM.

I'm more excited for the fact that domestic car markers are finally starting to take notice of the sport compact segment. Any new addition to this benifets us all, and makes going to the race track little more interesting.
If I remember the race was from a roll. Everyone knows that FWD is the best platform for racing on the highway, while AWD is the worst.
I thought Chrsler is owned by Dailmer Benz, does that still mean they are a domestic?

Yes AWD still have a disadvantage but the SRT also had 3 people in the car.
Not posting it as a "Oh look a Neon WHOOP a WRX" more of a how it stayed with them and pulled.

The performance value and strength is nice. But some people are still stuck on the "Its a neon" to actually appreciated the performance side of a new car.

Oh well.

My brother and his wife have to '98 Dodge neons. They have both been in the shop way to many times for that new of a car, and for weird stuff too. I remember one of the problems had to do with the spark plugs loosening themselves from the block. I'm sorry but that did it for me when I heard that...

a neon will always be a neon. as fast as it is, I wouldn't be caught dead in it. would you be caught dead in a 10 second Kia Rio?

In my opinion this is a decent car, definitely a performance bargain for the money and personally, i don't think it looks that bad. I wouldn't buy one because of the build quality and past reliability issues no matter what personal experiences people have had.

Anyway, i think we should all be glad this car is here anyway, because this lets other manufacturers know that they need to step up to compete and i think we'll start seeing more faster and better sport compacts in the future because the domestics are jumping into the game. Finally Ford and Dodge jumped into the game, and I guess we'll just have to wait to see if and when GM starts to get the picture. I think it will help the japanese and other foreign car companies start stepping up, just like mitsu and subaru have with the STI and Evo 8.

if you have had that many cars you have some money, which means you SHOULD be educated which means you SHOULD know how to spell "current" and "trade-in" >:o
