Drive safe folks......we lost another SRT-4 but this time the girl got away with just a headache.......here's a pic and a link to the thread with lots more pics (note there's one pic that appears to show possibly a beer can in a brown bag........don't drink and drive people).

damn...She lived? ...I hate wrecks, I luckily haven't been in one for a while...But a bunch of chicks around here are driving SRT-4's and have no idea how fast those things are...I was passed by a girl doing her make-up AND talking on a ******* cell phone at 100mph the other day...Every girl at this school has her parents buy her some extremely fast car, and almost everyone I have met usually drives like a fuckhead...What happened to college chicks putting around in Jetta GL's?

IMO Dr. Sound's car survived much better... I'm glad I drive a Mazda

The only thing that scares me about Dr.Sound's wreck is that the airbags didn't go off. They didnt go off in Memphis Racers either

There's surprisingly little damage on the driver's side...hardly any intrusion into the passenger compartment from the roof caving in. If there were any other passengers in there, they probably would have been messed up pretty bad. Not killed (with seatbelts of course) but hurt pretty badly.

Another piece of evidence that seat belts can save lives, and drinking & driving can take lives.

If I was the dad I would ground her ass for a year. I have already decided that all three of my girls will join the local scca when they get their learner permits and learn how to control a car before they get their liscence. I plan to teach them to respect the car and others who are on it. This is what happens when you don't and daddy buys you what ever you want.

I saw a wrecked SRT-4 on Ebay for $7,000...the engine was still good but the body was totaled. For some reason I've been seeing alot of wreck SRT-4. 2 SRT-4s wrecked on the way to Miami. Do they have a problem with rolling over...they have a pretty high stance and small tires (not racing tires)? Maybe thats a problem? But they are still super fast.

I don't know...I think it looks kind of cool that way. With the roof bashed in it gets rid of that skittle shape and gives it a sleeker look. She should keep it!

generous power + idiot driver = rolled srt-4. part of the problem is that manufacturers build these cars to appeal to a younger generation of drivers, whose parents may or may not be buying these cars, first car, etc., and they don't have the ability to handle my old $100.00 '86 Celebrity, let alone a sport compact with 200+ hp. i wasn't even allowed to drive until i was 18 and saved enough money to buy my own pos. and then i still had to take a drivers course! but it made me respect my priveledge and my property that much more. oh, well. it's all about the mighty dollar, anyway.........(cheers)

edit:i shouldn't assume the driver was an idio....beer can? IDIOT!
