Squealing once I get to 50 MPH

Hello,
I just got a protege 5 and had to replace the alternator. Got the car back today and while driving it the car squeals somewhere in the front end from time to time and also when I hit 50 MPH. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks

like a belt squeak? could be a bad belt? Or wrong tension?

Did you replace the belts when you did the alternator?

I didnt do the work myself I had my dads friend do it while I was at work but my guess was that it was the alt belt. I will have him look at it thanks.

I'm no mechanic, but, that's my first guess if you just replaced the alt.

Hope it's a cheap fix!!!

Inspect the belts for glazing (shiny), but i would check tension too. It sounds like they just need to be tightened.
