Sqeak

My dad has a 2001 MP3 and once the car is warm every time he goes of a bump or turns the car sqeaks. I think it might have somethign to do with the Rear sway bar but I am not sure. Also the noise comes from the rear. And when you push down on the rear bumper you can hear it pretty good. Any suggestions? Thanks a lot

Do you know wher I could buy new ones that would fix the problem?
you should be able to have the Mazda dealer take care of it under warranty

Bump

Well I recently looked at his last service report and he has the bushings BN75-28-156E on and they are squeaking. He got them put on at 46823 miles and now he has 58 k. Any ideas how to fix this squeak. Its damn annoying. Thanks

it is a recurring issue, this and the clunk IIRC that has been doggin mp3 owners since they bought the car

Just buy some lithium grease and put it in the bushings/endlinks... I dont have the Racing Beat Sway bar, but I do have the AWR. The endlinks squeeked like mad until I took them apart and greased them.. So far Ive been running for about 7 months with no problems.

Just replacing the bushings won't work because the sway bar has probably worn down after all those miles. You need to replace the sway bar as well be of the diameter issue. This way, there is a snug fit. It worked for me and no clunk or creak after 30,000kms
