Sprint Boost?

Okay so a MS6er just told me about this "chip" that you plug in and it instantly gives you more power. (ricer)

I told him I've heard of a PnP before...(boom02)

He said with regular PnP there are modifications that you still need to do for it to work, but this is a literal Plug and hold ON!

The product is called "Sprint Boost"

edit: After doing some research and hearing the testimonials of people whom have this product, we have concluded that this product in NO WAY ADDS HP it simply amplifies or speed up throttle response, wether or not it is beneficial in 1/4 mile time still needs to be proven. The mod is $329.00 a bit pricy but from what i hear from the people whom use it, its worth it... I just wanted to make it clear and not mislead people in thinking this mod is something that will increase you HP.

It ramps up the throttle signal so you THINK the car has more power because it ups the gain on the signal so 1/4 throttle equals 3/4 throttle. You still only get 100% throttle, just sooner in he pedal travel. It's a gimmick, and an expensive one at that...

This thing work fine ! It's like if you add 30 HP in your engine ! Plug and play !
take me 2 minutes for install ,and WOW ! After your have it , you wont drive your car without this thing . Expensive but great result !

I hear a lot of talk from the other forum as well, but i gotta test it for myself. I ordered one and should be getting it on Tuesday. Maybe it doesnt add HP but instead allow you to use the full HP the car already has ....Sooner?

and you are correct very expensive, but i have a friend in the motor industry and he got it for me for a slightly lesser price.

Ill keep you all posted, but if you do have it or know sum1 who does, tell us about it.

Sounds like the Venom 400 module I bought for my Integra years ago. Upon further research, all it did was richen my a/f and manipulate my throttle position sensor so the car though the pedal was down anywhere from 10% to 50% extra. You can see how this isn't good for the vehicle. Wasted money and nothing at WOT.

I can't see it doing any good in the quarter mile. My thoughts are, if you want to go faster, push the pedal down further. I don't need better response a part throttle. While I would love to bolt up every gizmo and gadget I can get my hands on, this looks like a waste of hard earned $$ remember, they weren't talking about more power at lower rpms, that was when taking longer to get to full throttle, hmmmm

that doesn't mean I wouldn't love for someone to prove me wrong. someone show me this adds power at wot please!

you could be right, but everyone i speak to that has it, don't tell me it adds power, but instead alow you to use the power u already have, quicker....

Wouldnt pressing the pedal harder/faster yield the same result and save you $$ for real mods?? How bout a test pipe or a downpipe? Those WILL add power to your ride.

Try and get some before and after dynos and 1/4 mile runs of it and see if it actually does anything.

i have all the basic bolt ons , DP, cai, BOV,....

who knows maybe this is the thing ive been needing...

regardles, the guy i bought it from was really cool hes giving me a month test period before I pay, and if i dont like it he'll refund my money...

If it makes that much of a difference, I may need to consider it. But yeah, looking for dyno graphs etc first

The Sprintbooster will not add HorsePower ! You will just have the feeling of the 30hP gain .

No problem in the winter .
The first time you will try it , take an easy on your gas pedal .

exactly...we have drive by wire...apparently the voltage from when we step on the pedal isnt that quick to the ecu to tell the car to add more fuel...all this does is increase the voltage to add throttle response. doesnt add hp or anything. thats my guess.
