Sprint Boost?

Lot of guys on the other forum said this is $20 parts BUT noboby make one with the Radio shack parts , so if you want a good plug & play without wires cuted you need to buy the Sprintbooster !

Okay just got it installed an hour ago, hit the high way right away. and i must say WOW, there is a definite increase of "pep", its not wild like stallion but as soon as i step on the pedal, it KICKS!

again not saying this adds HP, just it sure does feel like it...

(may be a placebo reaction but you guys really gotta try it)

whether or not its worth the money is under debate, im in the clothing industry and to be honest half of the major big league designers out there charge outrageous amounts on cloths when in reality it could cost cents to produce...

thats business, no?

that being said yes i think $325.00 could be better spent on other mods, although this one puts a sile on my face, and isnt that the point of all these mods, to feel like a kid in a rocket?

If you like, I am very happy that you enjoy your purchase. That's it, no arguement. You are correct that it is for you, your car, and you need to have the most enjoyable driving experience you can. period.

congrats!

Thanks alot bro!

Now with CP-E being able to flash the ECU to improve the throttle response, I don't think this is really a worthwhile mod. Not sure what the cost is for the reflash from them though.

CP-E reflash is $399.00 and you need to ship your ECU there . The SPrintbooster is plug & play so in 5 minutes your can back to stock ! With the reflash you need to send it again to CP-E so ......... :-(((

CPE is controlling the ECU and changing it to be actual 100% open, not just tricking the ECU to think you are pressing the peddle 50% when you are actually only pressing it 25%.

Which should, at least in theory, raise horsepower since our throttle plate apparently never reaches 100%

Dammit, more money I need to spend on this car ;)

Ya, 2 separate things. The CP-E flash lets the throttle plate open fully to 100% (from only 85) when you put pedal to metal (full throttle) - the sprintbooster only increases the ramp-up speed of the throttle application as you tip into it at part-throttle.
