ok update time..

I cant find my rear oil pressure regulator.. so I had to buy another one.. but a buddy hooked me up for 14.00 shipped

once that arrives I will get that on, the oil pump screen and the oil pan.

the passenger side engine mount bracket is on the drivers side will have to wait till we have the engine on the cherry picker.

this weekend I plan to pull the trans mount and replace the stock bushings with my urethane bushings.

prolly going to paint the trans while I wait for drop in time.

going to get the lim all wire wheeled and ready for install.
going to install the header today.

more to come..

OK so today..

got the header on
got the lower intake on
got some spark plugs in the engine

pulled the trans mount off of the trans and found that I need to replace the lower bracket.

also noticed my front wheel on the drivers side is cambering in HORRIBLY.. noticed that the wheel is not mating up to the hub like it should so I pulled that wheel off and noticed 2 studs were stripped so I pounded those out so I can replace them.

SO:
Bought a new lower trans bracket
bought a new rear output shaft seal
bought a block off plate for the rear iron
bought 2 new front wheel studs.

movin allong.. the engine and trans should be dropped in by the weekend.

Lookin good. What kind of power are you going to eventually be looking for? Also what chassis prep do you have left?

I would like to see a cool 350 RWHP more of course is what I would like but my goal is 350 TTW

left with the chassis:
remove the old trans bracket (1 bolt is stuck so I have to cut it off)
buy/install front and rear sway bars and end links
buy and install all brakes (pads, rotors, calipers)
install already purchased SS brake lines

drop engine/trans/driveshaft in and begin on engine bay and interior finish.

Yes I did want those however with the shipping included I know it will be well over what I wanted to pay for RX8 seats. I mean I can buy some brides for roughly that cost.

THX for the link though I only heard about them never seen the link.. NICE looking seats for sure!

well its been over a week since my clutch was ordered and still I dont have it.

So I called to get a tracking number. The guy tells me

"I'm sorry but that clutch has yet to ship. it should leave today"

WTF!!!!!!!!!

There goes my weekend install... I have a 4 day weekend this week so I could get the engine in and things started in the bay.. and now I am delayed ANOTHER WEEK!!!

DAMN..

I am tired of being screwed over.. WTF!

Ugh I know that feeling...my thing is you buy something it should be shipped out one or two days max unless it has to be built.

Ok so some parts showed up yesterday..

Transmission Mount
output shaft seal
block off plate
2 wheel studs

so today my plan is.

get the trans mount on with the urethane mounts in place
get the engine mounts on
get the output shaft seal in
install 2 wheel studs
put on another wheel to check for hub problems

adjust the block off plate to fit the hole I need covered.

that will prolly be about it.

lol, I don't think anything about this is street legal anymore...nor do I think he really cares =P

OK Well today so far I have purchased the following..

oil cooler (stock)
oil filter pedistal (stock)
S4 non turbo water pump housing
S4 thermostat neck
New oem release bearing for the clutch (I never use those that come in the kits)

I hope to buy my fuel rails today too.

Both KGrails have been bought today for my Cosmo intake/intermediate iron.

Clutch will be here Monday. I will get everything prepared for next Saturday install
