Spool MSP Turbo Upgrade?

Hey what's up everyone....

I was reading a thread ( dont remember which one ) about the spool turbo upgrade for the MSP, so I went to spools site & checked it out. It looks great & sounds like a great idea ( other then losing warranty )
So anyway, I wanted to know who here is going to try it out?
1.Do you trust it will produce 210-220WHP?
2.Is it safe for are engines? ( guess this goes along with trusting it )
3.How hard is it to install? Can I just study the root the existing turbo takes & just remember or make a diagram for were everything was & install the new turbo kit as if I was just putting the old kit back on?
4.Other then the intercooler setup is everything else the same?
See, I want to end up with about 210-220WHP anyway & if I can get that with just one buy, it sounds great to me
5.Last question, if I was to get this upgrade, can I add other performance parts after the upgrade or am I still at the max just like if I was to gain all that HP from bolt-on parts?
Oh, I did do a search, but came up empty.
Please give me some info if you guys have any, cause it's this upgrade or a new motorcycle for me & I need to make a decision
soon.... Thanks

yeah it probably would do the 210 hp as advertised, but i don't think it has been tested. yeah your warranty is shot. should be perfectly safe. only runs stock - 9psi. you get the power from the more efficient turbo and the cooler air coming from the fmic. the hardpipes also increase and smoothen the flow of charge air.

all iknow is that some of these fuel issues and timing issues should be addressed before anyone goes to aftermarket for upgrades in the actual mechanics of the system.

Its an MSP there are no fuel or timing issues;)
The kit has not been tested yet but will be very soon by our beta testers.
You can upgrade down the line but by changing the internals (pistons rods) and taking full advantage of the turbo and FMIC by utilizing higher boost.

Besudes that this upgrade is the mother of all upgrades and you would not really need to do any hardware upgrades after that:D

would you mind explaining why there would be no fuel and timing issues when increasing stock boost levels ;)

Very simply
With an inline fuel pump. Why do you say?
We ran a stock MSP at 10psi on the street with our wideband and it was running 10.9:1 a/f ratios after 4500 rpm,
Add a bigger turbo, FMIC and an inline and you will have PLenty of fuel.
;)
Also the MSP timing maps do just a dandy job for boosted apps.
This aint no MP3 or PRO5

what size are the stock injectors on the MSP?
are you planning on a rising rate reg for the upgrade.?

also do you have any info on this upgrade on your site?
if not what boost level were you looking to stay with max. thanks sorry for all the questions.:D

that t3 can easily support up to 450hp, thats a helluvalotta charge air. spool expects the turbo to run about 7-9 psi bolted on. after some internal upgrades and boost tuning i'll bet the shirt on my back that we can make 300hp. but for a while, i'll be stickin with my little t25.

i will let you all know how it works as soon as its here and on my car hopefully next week or so:) who needs a warranty anyway?:P/knocks on wood

feh, im more worried for the tranny more than the motor hehe im planning on doing pistons/rods the following month and getting some more boost going in Spicies veins. The guys at Spool-Turbo are very helpful and know what they are doin so im not to worried

you should have your tranny gears cryo frozen to strengthen them. but i think that the gears are the least of ppls worries. those servos are gonna be destroyed when they meet up with that much hp. try to find a dogbox tranny. they hold better against big hp. the downside is, you can't put it into gear without being at the right rpm. so you gotta be REALLY (i mean REALLY REALLY) good at rev matching and clutch/gas balancing.

Are you talking about after spools turbo upgrade or after
big gains like 300hp+?
So do we think the tranny & engine internals can take
spools upgrade fine or what?

450 hp?
what t3 do you know that can support 450. thats not possible.maybe your talking about a hybrid?
any way does spoolin have specs yet on this system and can someone please answer the questions i have about the stock fuel system on this vehicle.
we went from barely any modifications needed to internals blah blah.
this fs motor CANOT handle 225 hp with stock internals.botom line.
sorry i wish it was possible but its not.
