feels stock with a bit sharper engagement:rolleyes:[/QUOTE said:That's basically it ... just seems like I have to let it out a little quicker.
If I let it out slowly (like a stock clutch, it just barely kind of "skips" on the transition from dis-engaged to engaged.
If you can understand what I'm describing, is this normal for a hi-perf clutch ?
Is this something that goes away after break-in ?
Thanks All !

Anyone ever have this skipping, or "juddering" clutch in between engaged and
disengaged during break in (especially for a stage 2 spec clutch) ?
This is miserable in stop and go traffic, but once you get past 1st gear
startup, it is fine.
I talked to two different tech guys at Spec, and they said this is normal
and will go away .... 550 miles so far, very little if any change.
Is this normal ?
Will it go away ?
Will my clutch ever have a smoother transition from engaged to disengaged ?
RyanJayG said:there is no listing on any official SPEC website. the hybrid is different in that its a stage 3 on one side of the disk, and a stage 2 on the other side. This was developed when Beau of Mental Addiction Motorsports made a specific request for a clutch of these specifications to SPEC.
the flywheel is certainly a nicely machined peice as well.
