I'm assuming you purchased this component set:

These are 6.5" speakers (I thought you had 6"x5" speakers for a second) and to install them in the Protege5 you will have to make a 6"x8" to 6.5" baffle.

The one shown above was made out of 1/2" MDF (available at Home Depot).
The tweeters can be installed in several places. If you have the 6-speaker setup with tweeters near the side mirrors you can just install them there (I think this was a 2002.5-2003 only feature). Otherwise you can drill a hole in that panel by the mirror to mount the tweeter, drill a hole in the door panel just above the speaker opening to mount the tweeter, or make a bracket to suspend the tweeter over the woofer.
The crossover can be mounted to the door just below the window switches. There is some empty space there that works great for small crossovers).
