I've seen this a few times and now cant find it....how does it go again?

I recently put in denzo ITV22 plugs and sometimes get sputtering in 5th and 6th...the whole point of me changing these was to smooth things out. I did not check the gap because everyone went on and on about how they come gapped at .32

I am now thinking of pulling them out and gapping them to see if it fixes the sputtering problem. What should they really be gapped at? Ive seen .32, .30 and .26...i dont have an ap, just an sri and turbo inlet. While i am in there I would like to do this spring stretch thing too to see if it helps. Thanks for your input!

That's funny, the more mods you have, the bigger/smaller the gap?

Didn't know that myself...

that happen to me too. at first when i put in the spark plugs i was fine. like a month later my cylinders started to missfire and i bet thats wats happening to u. i took out the plugs and put my stock ones back in and i was fine.

Step colder plugs will foul out under stock boost levels. Happened to me in about 1500miles (total with AP and without) after I sold the AP...

Back on the stock plugs and will buying new stock level plugs soon.

exactly what I am going to do when I get home. Expect to see a forge BPV and 5k mile denzos on the marketplace later. Thanks sport

stock plugs cane out at 30k and have been boxed since august, could I reuse these again?

Yes. Step colder plugs are intended to maximize combustion at peak HP levels. They foul out rather quickly when not used to their full potential, like in a turbocharged car that gets grannied.

As long as they are in decent shape and not fouled, you should be fine. What are your other mods though?
