Spare tire

How many of you drive around without your spare to save on fuel? I am tempted to do this but I know once I remove it, I'm going to need it!

The spare tire doesn't really weigh anything, you'll save more gas by changing your driving habits. I think it's worth the few pennies you'll save per tank to have the peace of mind of having a spare in the boot.

I think you answered your own question there...I wouldn't do it. Then again, last time I needed my spare it was too flat to use!

It should be checked every time you do an oil change, or just keep a 12V tire pump in the trunk

definitely keep the spare in, you can save weight other ways but as i was said already, changing your driving habits will do the trick.

I agree keep the spare...or get AAA remove the spare,the jack, and strip the interior, J/K!
Regular checking of the tire pressure, Regular maintenance and keep the car's Exterior clean will help save Gas. And especially your driving habits.

screw the spare!

i removed the jack as well!

put my amp in there, since i dont think there was enough room under the seat.

i have AAA.

plus it helps offset the weight of the 80 lb sub box. lol
