I love it. I like to see people's signatures, but when somebody makes more than one post on a page, it's a PITA to scroll through it again, when you've already seen it once.
Browsing the forums is much cleaner now...I don't see why everybody is getting all worked up over this.
People who are sponsored, your signature is still on the first post on every page. Somebody reading the thread WILL see it just as easily as before.

Signatures were supposed to be just that, signatures...not photo galleries of your car, not advertisements for vendors, not photos of naked women. People abused them.
When I started coming here the majority of the sigs were text and a few were images no larger than say 600x150 pixels. Now people have full size images of their rides, lists of mods that span my entire browser window, and all sorts of other crap. Then they make a one line comment on a thread and force you to scroll through all of that. I've made a few signatures for people also, so I'm not completely against them. But all of my sigs have had size restrictions to keep the flow of the forum thread uninterrupted.
Perhaps what users want is a personalized user-homepage on this site (kind of like car/sound domain pages) where other users can quickly access their mods, photos, and other information. This stuff doesn't belong at the bottom of every post but I agree that it should be accessable by users.

Anyways, the option is there, in Control Panel -> Edit Options or CLICK HERE, the option is called "ALWAYS SHOW SIGNATURES" and by all means feel free to re-enable it if you like seeing sigs several times over.

I don't even think it SHOULD be an option for users. The people with the humongous sigs are OF COURSE going to enable that option if it is available, cancelling out everything.enry said:
Most message boards, even car ones where some members rely on sponsorships, utilize this feature to make it cleaner, and easier to read. People are only looking at the short term....by having a cleaner site, more people will be attracted to it....making your advertising more effective! It looks SO much more professional without having people's signatures take up 2/3 of every screen.

Just a thought here, but it is easy as hell to view a person's sig. Click on his/her avatar and there it is.

If companies want so much attention as to be listed again and again in people's sigs, let them get a banner. I could care less who sponsors who, and the fact that xxx is sponsored by XXX is NOT going to make me want to buy their s***. If they have a quality product, and I want/need it, I'll buy it.
