Is that a bezel pod or steering column pod? where did you get that pod from?

i was asked for pics...

thanks for all the compliments. i was PMed about where i ran my wires and such and which vac line i taped. so i took some pics. here they are.

here is where i mounted the sending unit.

here is where i grounded the black wire off of the sending unit

this pic is the red wire and the white wire going threw the firewall where the grommet for the yellow amp wire goes threw.

and here is where they come out at

from there i taped the red wire with the red wire from the gauge into the cig lighter. the white wire was connected to the green wire off of the gauge for the signal. the black wire for the gauge was grounded to the frame under the interior paneling by the cig lighter. the orange was taped into the cig lighter also. i didn't do anything with the white wire yet. i will whenever i figure out which headlight wire to tap into for the orange. at which point the white will be taped into the cig lighter. i hope this helps people.

nice gauge install! looks a lot like my setup [although i run a DEFI boost gauge ;-)] we even share the same turbo timer!

What I'd give for a full set of Defi d-gauges...They are so hard to find and when you do find them people are asking more then what they were new!! I guess I'll have to stick to my stewart warners.

oh i know! i had a stewart warner right before i got the DEFI and i loved it, it was excellent and accurate for a mechanical gauge. the only reason i replaced it was because i didn't have the original boost nipple on the back of the gauge, it was from an autometer and it wouldn't fit in my forcefed gauge pod...so i used that as an excuse to pick up a nice full electronic DEFI ;-)

I'm gunna install my boost gauge and steering column pod on monday i cant wait then my car wont be completely stock anymore lol
