Some Exhaust Questions for Everyone!!

Does anyone know if I can get the HKS Carbon Fiber-Titanuim in just a muffler??

For those who have done an exhuast custom fab so far do you have any sound clips?

What muffler have you gone with?

What have the MSP's sounded like with an aftermarket muffler?

Do you think with increased boost a 2.5 inch custom catback would make a difference over stock boost?

How much should the custom piping cost for the catback?

Do you think it would look good with the muffler angled Japanese style? Like the actually tip of the muffler comes out the back angled to the side or whatever, WRXs have these ive seen them.

If i think of anymore ill post but whoever can answer one or more thanks alot i would like to hear more from the car with an exhaust. Thanks

with stock boost, i dont think bigger exhaust will do much...didnt injen try 3" and see no gains? maybe with intake, intercooler, bigger exhaust, and upping the boost a little, you might see some nice gains.

just what im thinkin after readin all this stuff.

Well thats the thing my GReddy E-01 boost controller will be installed by this weekend. I have the K&N i figure the next cool thing would be to get a nice Exhuast and I have a guy that could custom make me one. Thanks

5. i dont think cat back but with a larger downpipe you will increase the pressure differential in the system and some improvements should be seen overall in the powerband providing that you increase the diameter of the entire system

The japanese stlye angled exhaust you speak about is not done for look like you may think???(and on top of that its not Japanese at all)it is done (originally)for performance reasons only.The reason it is angled is to straighten out the flow path of the exhaust as much as possible to allow for better flow of the exhaust(im sure you see it a lot on eclipses and WRX's huh)I'm not trying to sound like an ass but know what you're talking about before you open your mouth.
But on another note it might still look kinda cool coming out the back of an MSP at an angle like that!
