last night to a Lounge in Sayerville, and my SISTER rear ends me in the parking lot. NICE HUH the sound was horrible and since this IS my FIRST new car I was more than pissed. I didnt freak tho, I just walked away from the valet guys. Now I just wanna junk the car. I feel as tho it is tainted

I feel your pain bro. A few years back I bought my dream motorcycle which was a brand new yellow Aprilia Mille and on the 3rd day I owned it a thunderstorm blew up while I was at work and blew it over and ****** up one whole side. I wanted to cry.....like you said, it felt "tainted" and all the "new bike" excitement went out the window. Once it was fixed though I was ok but it took a while. Good luck with the repairs....it'll be ok as long as it's just cosmetic s***.

I had someone do a hit and run on brand new 1999 Honda Accord V6 Coupe, loaded with the ground effects package and everything.....3 hours after we bought it.

OOH and as far as grocery carts, the day I sold my Mustang, I took one last trip to Pep Boys for coolant. On the way out I saw a cart headed for the headlight but I was too slow I didnt make it in time New headlight for the new owner lol

You want good bodyshop? Ultimate Collision off Rt1 Edison. Its a little on the pricy side but excellent work. I would highly recommend them and the owner is really nice. My sister had her 02 Maxima done ther (7k worth of damage),and my friend had his WS6 done there. Extremely good work.

the first week i had my MSP i was driving down the freeway doing about 80 when this truck ahead of me lost the top to one of those big plastic barrels and it headed straight into my front bumper...put a nice little dent and a few cracks in the paint...it's hardly noticeable...but it's my first new car and it really pissed me off.

OK, it was a Taurus, but bear with me... I feel your pain...

Got a new Sales car, a Taurus MT-5, paid for with my own money... in 1986 (first year of the center-high-mounted-stop-light)13 days old... I'm sitting at a red stop light thinking that with the van in front of me (spoiler with brake lights on it) and my 3 brake lights it'd really take an idiot to... check rearview... oh no... car with a flickering bouncy headlight coming in fast... BAM!

Takes the sheriff 20 minutes to get there, and when he interviews me he's laughing. The reason the one headlight was flickering? The woman driving (with her drunken boyfriend in the car) hit HIS POLICE CRUISER in the mall parking lot not 25 minutes before!

She paid. A lot.

Even more when the Sheriff took her and her twice-wrecked car and her drunken boyfriend home to her husband... but that's probably another story entirely...

(and hey - the Taurus 5-speed was a nice car... in 1985...)
