Post up pics of your Speed 3 in the snow. Here's mine.

Snapped this on my way out the door to work the other day...just did it with my Nokia E51 so it isn't the best.

I kinda like how the snow falls on the fender flares, looks badass.

Yall are crazy for running your stock tires in the snow. I could barely drive mine around the block in the snow with stock tires.

+1. My 05 GTO had Bridgestone Potenza RE040's. Couldn't go over 10mph in the neighborhoods. Almost spun out during a real heavy snow/slush storm. It's impossible with those tires.

CoolFactor - what Blizzaks are those? WS-60's?

The park where I took the pics is in my neighborhood and the roads were clear. Only the parking lot at the park was covered in snow. Geeeze.

Scott.

Hehe, everyone attacked you as if you offended us all.

Oo noo don't be offended. I got me speed in December and I couldn't afford winter tires with the speed payments, so I just use my rents car when it snows. But, when I get caught coming home from work when it starts snowing.. MAN, is this thing ever so s*** in the snow! *not that I expected anything better*

Right on! And I really like them. I'd buy another set without hesitation. They are amazing through 10 inches of snow and the speed is rock solid on ice. I'm sure the combination of LSD and DSC helps a lot too because I find it better than my previous '05 Sport GT which was easier to lose control of.

the stockers are not that bad in the snow.

Yeah, they're horrible in the snow. I kept them on mine because luckily, if it snows or there's snow forcasted, I can take a company vehicle home from work...Got mine at the beginning of the year and thought I'd be able to push the car through the winter w/ the stockers, but they are bad.

WS-60 for the win. Tire Rack has shown how they absolutely annihilate everything else. Even the predecessor, the WS-50, was a class-leader.

Running stock tires in the snow is an absolute guaranteed way to crash the car. In fact, the rubber doesn't even work correctly on cold pavement and just skids everywhere. The tires get chewed up on cold pavement.

It's just the tires that are bad in the snow. Get some nice winter tires on there and it is a great winter car. I have some 205/60/16 blizzak revo1s on mine and it is perfect in the snow, ice and slush.

I gave that up back in '82

Haha. That comment and your name make me imagine you as the hippy guy from "into the wild". And I may have just made a movie reference that nobody has seen or heard of. Great movie BTW.
