Slow NA Pro5 build

Thanks man, the madness is already getting to me. I've been mulling over what I want to do with yeller, I cant decide on a definite course for the build to go in. I have so many ideas going on and none are cheap or simple. I know what I wanna do to the new car, lower it, intake, catback, mp3 ecu, and daily it. Yeller on the other hand is giving me major headaches, I know all the other builds on this topic never finish and no real progress is ever made but I got to put it put there. In one hand I want a rotary protege, in the other I want a rally car, and juggling between my feet is a drift car........ well why not all three in one? Anyone remember the fc rx7 that got built for pikes peak using a b2600i 4x4 transfer case and front end? Well I was thinking, why not use a s5 Tll 13b with matching trans, and since the b series transmissions are damn near identical to the fc rx7s, one could theoretically swap over the parts to hook up the transfer case or use the b series trans and play around with gears between the 2 (I believe 5th gear is the only difference besides tailshafts and bell housings). Other than the main issue of making this all work in a fwd BJ chassis the only major concern I can see is the miss matching lug patterns and the crappy b2600i front suspension.......and wiring, oh god I almost forgot that nightmare. What do you guys think? Pure protege fwd FS powered rally car? Rwd rotary wagon? 4x4 rotary rally wagon? Too many ideas not enough money or test shells. Oh sorry I got some pictures today but they are crap, I'll try to throw them up later to give you guys an idea of what I'm working with

And then…???

Well guys it's been quite a while since I was active here. Been through a lot in the past 5 years, moved twice, had a kid, switched careers and got dumped by the babysmama for a deadbeat 😂 I ended up getting rid of the 02 p5 unfortunately, snagged a yellow 03 with the sunroof but no roof rack. 234k with bad valve seals (found out about 300 miles in haha) the car sat for a good number of years with little to no work done to it. While it was down I got a beater msp for cheap and played around with turbo stuff for a bit. After blowing the diff I swaped a junkyard open diff trans in and shortly sold it to my buddy. He recently rear ended a van and now I'm on track to buy it back. Taking the engine out and putting it in the wagon so I can finally get back in a p5 and enjoy the car. Current build plan is mp3 ecu, oem intake with vtcs delete, aem short ram intake, mystery 4-2-1 long tube header off a ford probe or mx6, megan racing cat back with msp muffler, fsze Intake cam (needs some tlc), exedy stage 2 clutch, fidanza lightweight flywheel, awr engine mounts (mystery durometer) moog greasable endlinks, msp front sway bar, progress rear swaybar (21.5mm??) Megan racing trailing arms and lateral links, mx6 rear strut tower brace, drilled n slotted rotors, braided steel brake lines, mystery short shifter, sparco shift knob, sparco pedal set, sedan headlight swap with Matthew's plug n play adapter, jdm tails (still too poor but one day) msp racing hart wheels and eventually I'm going to add my reinforced msp diff to my non abs transmission (waaaay down the road more than likely. Whew that was a lot, I'll try to keep posts succinct from here on out and see if I can keep some some regular progress going. Pics soon to come! (She ain't pretty..... yet)

Got the front end cleaned up and put back together, rear end next. Might try my hand at rewelding some bad welds on my headers.
