slim fan problem

I just installed a custom ebay front mount intercooler and took out both fans to make room for the pipes and installed a 10" slim fan and hard wired it to the existing factory plug. the problem is it doesnt turn on, even with the car at idle. only way i can make it come on is by turning the a/c on.
could someone please help as to why its doing this.

You have it hooked up to the wrong fan wires, try the other one.

oh ok that makes sense, guess imma get another small slim fan to hook up to that side then and fully it will work. thanks

Not a problem, I will be installing slim fans as well when I order an FMIC.
