Slight lag noticed...not normal turbo lag

Just a small issue I've noticed recently. I installed a MAP clamp (set to read 2.5psi max) and a MBC (set at 18psi) over the winter along with step colder plugs, upgraded BPV, and upgraded CDFP internals.

Now that the weather is getting better, I can actually test this stuff out. I noticed something strange that I hadn't really seen before, however...if I go WOT in second it'll spool up right away and pull really well...however, once I shift it seems like there's a second or so of hesitation before it spools up again and starts pulling again. Not sure what it is, because it doesn't seem like normal lag, which is basically non-existent with this turbo. Could traction control be causing this? I don't notice the blinking "your wheels are spinning" light, but that's basically what it feels like...like traction control is limiting power for a brief moment. I was wondering also if it had to do with the MAP clamp setting, but I just don't see how that could cause it (scratch) Any ideas?

I've noticed the same thing shifting hard into 3rd gear...if I have the traction control on. I've tried it with the traction control off and nothing.

Could that extremely low setting on the clamp have anything to do with it? Seems to me that most of the posts I`ve seen about setting those say to start high and bring it down until the car stops cutting boost, runs properly, and if you have the means to monitor it, is giving proper a/f trims.

Nah it will not hurt anything. I had mine clamped at 8psi when I had an MBC. That is about where he is at I would think.

You can turn the clamp down as low as you want. It has zero effect on the way the car runs or AFRs or anything like that. I ran mine at about 2 psi also.

I also have the same problem when I go WOT in 4th or 5th!! My boost gauge sees +21PSI and there is sort of hesitation before spool up gain :(
My mods: SRI,TP,ETS,Forge (red spring),cdfp and tune
