Thank you!

Read the code at work today ... Does this mean my 02 sensor is spaced too far?

Also the other day I plugged my FM transmitter (Yes people still use those) into my three outlet extension I did and ...pop... blown fuse. I had noticed a bit of fussiness with the thing leading up to this. Upon taking it apart I noticed the bar that sits at the bottom of the barrels had come loose and touched a bit of metal it shouldn't have causing a short. So a quick fiz later and it was repaired and reinforced to ensure this little problem wont happen again

Ordered new mirrors. Should be here thurs. Anyone know how to get these damn things off. Seems like Im missing a bolt somewhere thats still holding em on

In better news, I have an interview with the sheriff's corrections office tomorrow
Extremely pumped and nervous at the same time

I know it may seem like a dumb question, but I'm having a hard time thinking that someone would actually do that.

Mirrors came. They are black and not paint matched so I have some DiNoc laying around and may put that on the caps

In other news. I had a short interview with the sheriff dept. yesterday. I have an agility test today and then a panel interview in a week.

Treated myself today. Sometimes new tools are cooler than new parts 8)
Now I have no excuse to get under her and fix the minor exhaust leaks and tweak the O2 spacer

So the stupid plate came disconnected behind the aux ports again. I think its the ambient heat in the car softening the glue then popping it loose when the tip of one of the plugs presses against it. So when in doubt use zip ties. That outta hold it. If not I may go back to square one and redesign the whole thing. Also glad that mess is unseen cuz its looking super ghetto lol.

Also got this today. I ordered it the other day cuz it was on rockauto as a manufacturer closeout price. I want to do the Z1 timing belt/water pump/thermostat kit in the spring and wasnt sure if they include this or not. But for just a few cents why the **** not make sure Ive got one just in case.

So Ive been thinking a lot about where focus next on the car. And I think in the spring time its going to be to tackle any rust starting before it gets bad.

Ive got some cancer starting at the rear wheel arches. I took a look at em the other day I think Ill be able to fix the areas without having to cut out any metal.
Then Im going to remove the body panels (bumpers, side skirts, fenders, wheel liners) and look for and tackle any more rust plus coat anything that these parts cover with that spary on rubberized undercoating.
Also there is a bit of rust starting around the key hole in the trunk and since it doesnt work anyway Im going to take that out and shave the whole trunk.
Then I might as well bite the bullet and have it taken in to have the minor body dings fixed and a re-paint done
Efff, that means Ill be needing a new front bumper and fender too

Still got ideas for the car stuck in my head. But I have made my decision.
Rust work and body work will start in the spring while saving for coils on the side.
Ill take it one body piece at a time and when it is ready, instead of paying to have it professionally painted Ill be wrapping it in vinyl since that comes easy for me.

Still have to make a decision on color scheme though:
Matte black with orange wheels like teh protege ... or
Matte white with takata green wheels which ive always loved the look of
