If it wasn't fopr Eclipse_21 I wouldn't have gotten over $50 in a return for my grill. and from what I remember Sky was a pain in the ass to deal with. He shipped me a cracked grill that required a pro to fix. Thankfully he refunded the cost of damages.

I don't know how welcoming RCMP would be to an American coming up to their country and trying to file charges against a citizen. Is there anyone up there that might be able to look into it? I would be more than happy to drive up there since I'm in Seattle, if it would help get Skylab busted or get our product.jowettw said:

I'm glad we're not giving up on locating Skylab...the fckrs have to pay....... keep us posted on anything anybody finds out..... I got my DG Grill now so am looking good but am still minus over $200+ and am still pissed.... what happend to the refund of the paint money anyway?

I think pdhaudio skipped out of the forum because of all the crap he was getting. Did anyone try and contact his parents and fill them in on all of this? That would be a good idea or at least a good place to start.

pat put alot of effort into this forum and basically got blackballed out of here.. he after all did alot of nos research and ended up popping a motor doing it..
no hes not going to refund the paint.. he offered u guys a good deal on painting those things.. i paid 115 to get mine painted and he was going to do it for $30.. cut the guy a ******* break..
it sucks that u guys lost money... but after all that is why we have authorized vendors.. thats is why it is the consumers responsibility to research who they are purchasing from..

But he did tell us he'd refund the paint money or at least send us the paint. I asked him if he could send it to me because I need it but then he said he couldn't. If he wasn't plannign to refund the paint money he shouldn't have said so. I even offered to pay for shipping of the paint and still he won't send it to me. you can understand why somebody may doubt things. I know he did his best and helped us out but there is a certain amount of responsability involved in doing a GB even though it is at your own risk. He should still refund the paint money or at least send the paint to people who want it since he does have it just sitting around right?
i still talk to pat so ill hit him up.. cus i could use some sunlight silver if he has any.. i think he was just so frustereated with all the finger pointing he just blew everyone off.. which sucks when your trying to be reasonable.. but when one person is being reasonable and 10 arent..the bad is always gunnah cover up the good u kno?

The parent's thing was my bad. What my understanding was that the guy who actually owned skylab's used to live with his parents up in Vancouver and since we can't track down the buster who jacked over 5k of our money I thought it would be good to talk to his parents to get the current address on this prick. I also thought the guy who owned skylab's was a kid still so I wanted to track down the jerk. I didnt' know people were trying to call Pat's folks.. that would be messed up because I know how much Pat worked to get us our products and I totally understand that he can't do anything about getting them.
I still have a bunch of the guys up in BC working on hunting the owner down to get our money or product. Lastly I too would appreciate the paint I paid for. I coughed up 75.00 to have my grill painted and could use it for other things that may need touched up. I too recall something being said about at least getting our money back for our paint job.
I DO feel bad for Pat that he got screwed but he still is responsible for refunding or clearing up the money that is owed to all the people who paid for paint. I have nothing but love for Pat please understand that.

Here's the final deal guys, I don't have the cash. Any of it, I'm actually trying to work 36 hrs a week and do other odd jobs to get out of the hole this had put me in. I just sold my bike 
I sold the paint locally to try and get some cash back for me since I did lose more than anyone else. I don't know what to say, I had everything vitually pre paid and I lost it all since it was over 30 days. I got $40 for all the paint, which went to a local used import store (messina imports), however, I still am trying to come up with $270 to pay the shipping and boxes. I have the boxes, so if ANYONE wants some (I have 25) they are 36x8x8 size. I filed a complaint with the FTC because I can't get my pre paid shipping money back, but its been like over ******* 60 days so we'll see what they say
