I signed up for this yesterday. They said mid january.

I got mine, although the reception isn't great on the back roads around here, which are heavily wooded- the trees block out the antenna, it seems.

Just ordered it but thinking of canceling the order because I am going to Korea in June and they were saying that they don't have military clause,the only thing they can do is cut service for 5 months.

The only emails I've gotten since *signing* the agreement were all promotions, about 5 of them. I feel like I've signed up for spam.

I ordered Nov 17th, "signed" and have written twice, and still have yet to hear anything back at all...

I have spoken with them several times, and the ETA they quote you is based on your position on the wating list....which is long as hell. It's because we all waited until the last minute to take advantage of this deal. Sucks, huh? So my ETA is still "mid-January" but that is just an estimate...so who knows. Guess we just gotta ' all be patient and work that MP3 player like it ain't no thang.

Just an update...Since Mid-January has come and gone, I decided to humor myself and call American Satellite back again. Talked to another person who didn't seem to know too much about the deal. It's funny when you know more of what's going on than people who actually work for the company(freak). I explained to her how a few of us have gotten their kits, and she said, "Oh, it must be based on your postion on the list" (hand) Well, damn, I would hope so!! I asked if they simply didn't get their shipment, or if they ran out before they got mine, and she said they must have just run out....Yeah....So now the next delivery date is February. When in Feb. is unknown. This is getting pushed back so far, I might actually get a copy of GT4 in my hands first!!(rofl2)

i just called too, the lady i talked to sounded genuinely concerned. she said she was going to talk to some other department and find out what the deal was and give me a call back tomorrow when she knew more.

They told me mine will be shipped immediately every time I've called, the first day even; and that's been returning their calls telling me they don't know what's going on with the order ...what? I sent an email with my order number and info to see if I could just get a timeline...that was last week.

Please do not take orders for products for which you do not make any effort to provide. I placed an order in November and at the time was told it would ship a week later. Here it is February and I still have no product. I have been calling since December and each time was told it was backordered and given a date when I should expect the product. The last time I called I was told it was backordered with no estimate even of when it would be in. This shows me that there is little to no effort on your part to provide me with this product. The kind of effort that has been shown lets me know the attitude towards its customers your company has and does not make me want to conduct future business with your company. Unless there is a serious turn around in the attitude towards orders placed with your company, this will certainly be my last order through American Satellite. Thank you.
