Anyone know the best way to install this thing? I don't have a clue.

Well, mine is mounted behind the cloth in the trunk over the right wheel well. There should already be a harness back there. Then the antenna is run across the underside of the trunk lid, then mounted in the center of the trunk lid at the base of the rear window.

Sorry, I don't. But if you pull the grey cloth-stuff back over the right wheel well, I believe it's just hanging loose. Look at the socket on the tuner you just got. The end of the harness is the male end.

I hate to sound stupid, but, I got the tiny Sirius antenna and the Kenwood add-on. This harness on the right rear wheelwell is for what - the antenna?

I just checked in with ours friends at American Satellite...I asked about my order and the lady said it'll ship out in January. I had her check into it a little more, and she said my name is still on the list and they will call me. She said expect a mid-January shipment.
Honestly, I don't see why I'm getting so antsy about this. With, my work schedule(and lack of funds) I probably won't even install this for a week or two after getting it.

I still have not gotten mine. It was ordered like a month ago, and it just never showed up. I called two weeks ago, and they never billed me or had any record of it. They didnt know what happened, so they said they would send me another one, but it was going to cost money this time. I am so over it now, the good old mp3 will have to do...

Does anyone else have this harness for satellite radio that is supposed to be over the right wheel well b/c I don't see it in my car. I have an 03.....Maybe they just put it in the 03.5.

Hmm..it *should* be there, maybe it's tucked away where you can't see it? Did you get a separate harness with the kit?

I received a very long wire to connect from the tuner to the radio....My car was bought used and the person b4 me took out the Kenwood HU so maybe he took that to b/c I don't see it at all.Oh well just a little extra work to do.

Does the antenna wire just go into the trunk over the weatherstip or do you run it inside a special way?

Well why would you accept that? Call back and tel them to speak with a supervisior and get it taken care of. Do not accept this. I got mine by being a pain in the ass for a month. I called weekly. The squeeky wheel gets the grease.

(since they're on back order till May) I mean... were they lying about that? if so... that's sort've weird! sorry man... just bustin your chops but seriously, I sort've want this thing installed this week and don't want to be forced into this game where I'm hasslein people every day. dont' get me wrong, for certain things I'll lose the gloves and go toe to toe with the best of em. just not sure this is the time... especially when I'd only be able to use the antenna anyway (I have a clarion headunit) if I had a kenwood... I'd probably do what you did since it would mean I'd be saving $100!

haha, i got that email too. i was thinking of responding "don't make offers you can't complete"
