Sirius and Ipod connection

Hello,

Well I am glad to be in the Mazda family once again. It has been a while but anyways. The moster is a new '08 CX-9 GT. How can you tell if this is prewired? Or is it? I know on my Infiniti it was prewired for XM. It seems that having a SAT button really doesn't mean its prewired but I really want my Sirius hooked up but of course non-FM modulator. I have that auxilliary port in the center compartment but it has a plastic cover to it. I don't know if that pops off or not since I haven't messed with it. Any info would be great and I only have the Bose Centerpoint, no Nav.

if you press sat and nothing happened you need the sat radio module kit.

you may be better off having the dealer install it they will install it for usually close to the price of the module kit (270 is not the dealer cost, dealer cost is actually 170 so you can figure about 100 in labor to install)
